Thank you, Iran. My portfolio is having a good month. Why? Because sh*t happens. Just like the job market. Just like AI and the dreaded ATS (Applicant Trauma System).
I’m making money not because I’m a genius.
(Well, actually, I am, but that’s beside the point…)
Because there’s a war in the Middle East and oil is up 60% since it started. And there’s always a war.
I didn’t start the war. I can’t end the war. I have zero influence over what happens between the old farts in DC and Tehran.
But I owned Chevon and Exxon and Shell.
And war stocks.
And here’s the thing:
While everybody else was doom-scrolling headlines and panicking about gas prices, a small percentage of people were positioned to benefit from the exact same chaos everyone else was complaining about.
Not because they predicted the war. Because they were prepared for volatility in general. They had positions. They had a plan. When the world moved, they moved with it.
Simply put: Shit happens. You can profit. Or you can doom scroll like most plebs.
The job market works the same way.
AI took over.
You can’t control the ATS — Applicant Trauma System.
You can’t control the fact that 1,000 people applied for the same job you did.
The ATS filters 95% of resumes before a human sees them. Candidates are blasting 500 AI-generated applications a day and then whining on LinkedIn that “nobody is hiring.”
Again, you can’t control any of this.
But you can be positioned to benefit while everyone else panics.
The candidates who are getting hired right now aren’t fighting the system. They’re not complaining about it. They’re doing something different in the first 30 seconds of the interview that the other 999 applicants don’t know about.
There are 20 moves in my new book, “10,000 Interviews” — that work regardless of what the ATS does, what AI does, or how many people applied before you.
The first one you can use in the first 10 seconds of walking into an interview — remote, in person, doesn’t matter — to absolutely blow them away.
It’s 7 very simple words that you can use to disarm, gain intelligence, and ultimately stand out from everyone else out there.
You can’t control AI this or AI that.
But you can do something when you walk into that room.
To learn how, check out my new book — at a launch price special of just $25 for now.
